It’s a tough pill to swallow, but healthy eating and eating for fat loss are NOT the same thing.
It is totally possible to eat an extremely healthy diet and not lose fat.
It is totally possible to lose fat while eating a very unhealthy diet.
This is because, by definition, they really have nothing to do with each other.
When we call a food “healthy” we are referring to the nutrient density- how many health-promoting nutrients it has.
We we look at food for fat loss, we are looking at energy balance- how many calories the food has related to how many calories our body is burning.
